This is an appeal from the trial court's overruling of an administrative law judge's decision in a driver's license suspension case. Dorcas Friedel's attorney did not appear at the license suspension hearing, and the administrative law judge (ALJ) entered a default order authorizing the Texas Department of Public Safety (Department) to suspend Friedel's license.
