I. NATURE OF CASE

Richard K. Cook was convicted in the district court for Douglas County of first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Cook was sentenced to life imprisonment on the murder conviction and 49 ½ to 50 years' imprisonment on the weapons conviction. Cook appeals his convictions and sentences. We affirm.
