Franklin Cantrell was convicted by a jury for criminal conspiracy to misapply fiduciary property. The trial court sentenced Cantrell to five years of imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, and a fine of $10,000.00, but suspended the imposition of the sentence and placed Cantrell on community supervision for ten years.
