Plaintiff1 appeals as of right from the trial court's order granting defendants' motion for summary disposition. We reverse.

On February 10, 2000, plaintiff filed a medical malpractice complaint, alleging that on January 17, 1998, he went to the emergency room of defendant hospital with complaints of abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
