The verdict was based upon legally sufficient evidence and was not against the weight of the evidence. There is no basis for disturbing the jury's determinations concerning credibility. The jury's finding that defendant possessed a weapon with intent to use unlawfully against another was not undermined by his acquittal of the homicide charges (see People v Rayam, 94 N.Y.2d 557 [2000]).
