PER CURIAM.

James Edward Starkovich was convicted of theft of property having a value of $1500 or more but less than $20,000. Sentence of 180 days confinement in the state jail was imposed on June 17, 2002. No motion for new trial was filed; therefore, appellant's notice of appeal was due by July 17, 2002. See TEX.R.APP. P. 26.2(a)(1). Appellant filed an appeal bond on June 17, 2002. He did not, however, file his notice of appeal...
