Michael C. Vinyard, an Iowa attorney, was convicted of fourteen counts of mail fraud and twelve counts of money laundering. Following Vinyard's felony convictions, the Iowa Supreme Court Board of Professional Ethics and Conduct charged Vinyard with violating several ethics rules.
