Appellant Denise Buchanan was charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of her three infant sons. After a four-week trial with 100 witnesses, Buchanan was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder, and sentenced to two consecutive terms of life in prison with the possibility of parole.
