The defendants, some twenty attorneys, were, at the time this case was brought in 1995, members of the law firm of Davis, Malm & D'Agostine. A jury found them negligent on certain claims of malpractice brought by the plaintiff Lawrence Savings Bank. The bank claimed damages from the defendants' representation of the bank in connection with five loan transactions, styled here the Peter & Sons loan, the Winship loan, the Bank Building loan, the Liberty...
