Defendant Domestic Violence Escape (DOVE) is a nonstock, nonprofit corporation that educates the public about domestic violence and provides abuse victims with shelter, counseling, referrals, and advocacy. Plaintiff, Velda S. Sclafani, was the executive director of DOVE.
