¶ 1. DYKMAN, J.

Ann Masko appeals from an order granting summary judgment in favor of the City of Madison and its insurer. Masko had sought damages for physical injuries and property damage arising out of an automobile accident involving her vehicle and a city bus. We agree with the trial court that the issue of liability was fully litigated in a prior municipal court proceeding. As a result, the doctrine of issue preclusion bars Masko's civil action.
