[¶ 1.] James and Barbara Storm (Storm) brought a medical malpractice action against Dr. Durr and his medical office, Cardiology Associates (Durr), and two other doctors. From the time the complaint was filed on August 21, 2000 until May 29, 2001, Storm acted pro se.
