These consolidated cases come before us on petition for review. The Court of Appeals, interpreting provisions of K.S.A. 2002 Supp. 21-4611 and K.S.A. 2002 Supp. 22-3716, concluded that the district court lacked jurisdiction to extend the defendants' probations and further concluded that the extension of Scribner's probation without a hearing was contrary to law.
