Defendants, agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms ("BATF"), were involved in the search and seizure operation. Plaintiff, Keith B. Baranski, imported the machine guns which the agents seized. Plaintiff Pars International Corporation operated the Customs Bonded Warehouse in Louisville, Kentucky which stored the machine guns.
