This case arises from a prosecution for child enticement and attempted sexual assault resulting from an ongoing Internet "sting" operation conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice. The State appeals from an order dismissing the charge against James F. Brienzo for child enticement and Brienzo cross-appeals from the order, which denied his motion to dismiss the charge of attempted sexual assault...
