WILLIAMS, Circuit Judge:

Jamal A. Abuagla appeals from his conviction for violation of 18 U.S.C.A. § 1015(a) (West 2000). On September 7, 1988, Abuagla was arrested for possession of a concealed firearm and spent 24 hours in jail.
