Opinion by SARAH B. DUNCAN, Justice.

Ronald Stern and John Cowan appeal the trial court's order denying their special appearance. We affirm the trial court's order and, in so doing, join the Fort Worth Court of Appeals in holding the fiduciary shield doctrine does not "protect[ ] a corporate officer or employee from the trial court's ... exercise of specific jurisdiction as to torts for which the officer or employee may be held individually...
