{¶ 1} Defendant, Thomas Schaefer, appeals from his conviction and sentence for attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

{¶ 2} On August 17, 2002, defendant entered an Internet chat room and began talking to a Brookville police officer who was posing as a 14-year-old girl.
