Linda T. Timms filed a trover action against Gateway Bank & Trust ("Bank"), claiming that the Bank wrongfully repossessed a Nolan flatbed trailer that she owned. According to Timms, the Bank seized the trailer under the mistaken belief that it belonged to her son, Philip Hatfield, who had financed a different trailer with the Bank. The Bank refused to return the Nolan to Timms. A jury awarded her possession of the trailer, $5,000 in damages, attorney...
