This case involves the Missouri Incarceration Reimbursement Act, sections 217.825 to 217.841.1 After Appellant James L. McMullin secured judgment in favor of his incarcerated client, Vince Karpierz, the State initiated action to recover much of that judgment, including most of McMullin's attorneys fees.
