Curtis Gibbs ("Gibbs") pleaded guilty to driving under suspension (second) and to uttering a fraudulent check of more than $500. For DUS, Gibbs was sentenced to six months imprisonment and a fine of $500, provided upon payment of $200, the balance was to be suspended with probation for two months. For the fraudulent check conviction, Gibbs was sentenced to eight years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000. The sentence was to be suspended with probation...
