Appellant Melvin Max Ray, Sr. was charged by a three-count indictment with the offense of aggravated sexual assault. Upon his plea of guilty, the jury assessed his punishment for each count at sixty years' confinement in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
