The sole issue in this certified appeal is whether the Appellate Court, in affirming the defendant's conviction, properly concluded that the trial court did not abuse its discretion when it denied the defendant's motion for a bill of particulars. We conclude that, although the trial court improperly denied the defendant's motion for a bill of particulars, the defendant has failed to establish that he was prejudiced by
