The plaintiff, Grand Pacific Finance Corporation (GPFC), brought this action in three counts for conversion, fraud, and violations of G. L. c. 93A, § 11. GPFC sought to recover $100,000 that had been misappropriated. The $100,000 was part of a commercial loan of $750,000 from GPFC to Commonwealth Snack, Inc.
