Defendants-appellants Sabino Gepaya and Nenita Gepaya (the Gepayas) appeal from the judgment of the Circuit Court of the First Circuit1 in favor of plaintiff-appellee State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. (State Farm), declaring that the "covered loss deductible" provision of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) § 431:10C-301.5 (Supp. 1997)
