On January 12, 2000, a grand jury indicted defendant Manuel Geronimo on one count of conspiracy to import "ecstacy" (3,4 Methylenedioxymethamphetamine) and one count of aiding and abetting the importation of ecstacy. After a six-day trial, the jury acquitted Geronimo of the conspiracy charge, but found him guilty of aiding and abetting. See 21 U.S.C. § 952...
