This is a medical malpractice action. Appellant, Mary Ann Barnes Pech, sued appellee, the Estate of Dr. Vicente Tavarez, Jr., deceased (the Estate), for malpractice arising from a surgery performed by Dr. Tavarez. The Estate moved for traditional summary judgment asserting Pech was barred by limitations under the two-year statute on medical malpractice actions, and, alternately...
