Amilcar Guilloty Perez ("Guilloty"), an agent in the Special Investigation Bureau of the Puerto Rico Department of Justice, brought suit against four higher-ranking officials in the Department of Justice alleging that they retaliated against him for exercising his First Amendment rights. After an eight-day jury trial the district court granted the defendants' motions for judgment as a matter of law under Fed. R.Civ.P. 50. Guilloty now appeals...
