Shawn Rauch ("Shawn" or "Appellant") was charged with one count of murder in the first degree, § 565.020, RSMo, one count of armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo, and one count of attempted arson in the first degree, § 569.040, RSMo.1 Following a bench trial before the Circuit Court of Andrew County, he was found guilty on all three counts.
