This action against the Islamic Republic of Iran ("Iran") and the Iranian Ministry of Information and Security ("MOIS") arises out of the kidnapping of plaintiff Frank A. Reiger in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1984. Frank Regier was abducted near the campus of the American University of Beirut ("AUB") and was subsequently held for sixty-five days by members of the Iranian-sponsored terrorist organization, Hizbollah...
