The defendant, Reyson Jose Pena ("Pena"), pled guilty to a one-count indictment charging him with Unlawful Re-entry of a Deported Alien, in violation of 8 U.S.C. § 1326. The defendant urged a sentence at the low end of the applicable range of imprisonment under the United States Sentencing Guidelines.
