Johnson ("Appellant") appeals from his conviction and sentence after a jury trial found him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of murder in the first degree of his sister Carrie Johnson. § 565.020.1 In its judgment, the Circuit Court of Webster County imposed a sentence of life imprisonment without eligibility for probation or parole.
