Appellant, Jeffrey Edward Steinocher, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault. Pursuant to a plea bargain agreement, the trial court deferred adjudication of guilt and placed appellant on five years' probation. After the State filed a motion to adjudicate guilt, appellant entered a plea of true, and the trial court adjudicated appellant guilty of aggravated assault and assessed punishment at 16 years' confinement...
