This is an action to recover monies owed by the defendant for the purchase of goods on a retail store credit card. The plaintiff is the assignee of the debt. Summary judgment was entered for the plaintiff on its complaint, and the defendant's counterclaims were dismissed pursuant to Mass. R. Civ. P., Rule 12(b)(6).
