The plaintiff, Town of North Kingstown (town), was granted summary judgment on its complaint for a declaratory judgment. The Superior Court judgment said that a town employee, a police officer under investigation by the town for possible improper conduct while on duty, had no right to have a union representative present during the interrogation.
