Jude Cazeau appeals an order entered June 24, 2003, in the Broward County circuit court, summarily denying his motion for post-conviction relief, filed pursuant to rule 3.850, Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure. The state agrees that the trial court lacked jurisdiction to rule because Cazeau's direct appeal from the challenged conviction, filed through counsel on April 4, 2003 (apparently without Cazeau's knowledge at the time he filed his pro se motion...
