After a bench trial, Simmie Anderson ("Anderson") was convicted of the crimes of possession of marijuana and phencyclidine ("PCP") with intent to distribute in violation of La. R.S. 40:966 and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in violation of La. R.S. 14:95.1. Anderson was adjudicated a second felony offender and received concurrent sentences of fifteen years at hard labor without benefit of probation...
