Appellant, Darrell Wayne Hale ["Hale"], appeals his judgment and sentence. He raises three issues, none of which was raised at trial, and which are argued on appeal to be "fundamental error." Hale first complains that he is entitled to a judgment of acquittal on the charge of giving false verification of ownership to a pawnbroker, in violation of section 539.001(8)(b)8, Florida Statutes (2000).
