A Superior Court jury convicted the defendant, Odelle Williams, of unlawful distribution of cocaine. G. L. c. 94C, § 32A. The Commonwealth's case depended upon the identification of the defendant by two Springfield police officers. The theory of the defense was that the officers had made honest, but mistaken, identifications. On appeal, the defendant claims error in the omission of a jury instruction...
