This is a medical malpractice action arising from the birth of Mikayla Mauzey who, at birth or soon thereafter, suffered from a respiratory disorder requiring seventeen days' hospitalization. Her parents, appellants Mike and Melissa Mauzey (together the "Mauzeys") sued appellees Lourell E.
