[¶ 1] Progressive Insurance Company appeals from a judgment entered in the Superior Court (Cumberland County, Warren, J.) determining it liable for 100% of the injuries suffered by Michael Haskell in an automobile accident caused in part by Progressive's insured and in part by an uninsured joint tortfeasor. Progressive contends that pursuant to the uninsured vehicle coverage statute, 24-A M.R.S.A. § 2902 (2000),1
