Defendant, Reggie Eason, was charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine, in violation of La. R.S. 40:967, and one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine, in violation of La. R.S. 40:979 and 14:26. Subsequently, Defendant agreed to plead guilty to one count of distribution of cocaine and to the count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine in exchange for the State's agreement not to charge Defendant as an habitual offender, to dismiss the remaining...
