¶ 1. Todd Randall Trower was indicted for the crimes of capital rape, burglary of a dwelling and kidnaping. On July 26, 2001, guilty verdicts were returned by the jury on each count in the indictment. Trower was sentenced to the Mississippi Department of Corrections for a period of twenty-five years for capital rape, twenty-five years for burglary of a dwelling and life imprisonment for the kidnaping charge.
