¶ 1. On June 21, 2002, in the Circuit Court of DeSoto County, Derrick Stone was convicted of grand larceny and theft of a motor vehicle. He appeals asserting that the circuit court erred in: (1) denying his motion for a JNOV or new trial, (2) denying his motion to sever the two crimes for which he was indicted, (3) denying his motion for a mistrial after testimony going to prior bad acts, (4) allowing testimony
