Defendant was convicted of first degree robbery and sentenced as a fourth-felony offender to life imprisonment. He appealed the conviction and sentence. This court reduced defendant's conviction to simple robbery and affirmed the prison term without remand. State v. Wilson, 34,857 (La.App.2d Cir.08/22/01), 796 So.2d 45. The Louisiana Supreme Court vacated the sentence and remanded to district court for re-sentencing...
