The plaintiff, Samuel Samuelov, appeals from an adverse final judgment. We affirm, in part, and reverse, in part.

Samuel Samuelov was a passenger on the Imagination, a cruise ship that was owned and operated by Carnival Cruise Lines, Inc. [Carnival].
