Defendant, Peter Anton Shaw, was charged with one count of unauthorized use of a movable valued at over $1,000, in violation of La. R.S. 14:681, and with two counts of simple criminal damage to property valued at greater than $500, in violation of La. R.S. 14:562. Defendant was tried by a jury and convicted as charged.
