The proceedings in this Court started as an appeal by Jerome K. Hamilton ("Hamilton") from the Superior Court's judgment that summarily denied Hamilton's motion for post-conviction relief. Hamilton alleged that the Department of Correction had improperly calculated the sentences that had been imposed for several criminal convictions.
