The Salem Township Municipal Authority (Authority) appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Westmoreland County (trial court) granting a writ of peremptory mandamus to the Township of Salem (Township). Accordingly, the Authority was directed to dissolve in accordance with the terms of Salem Township Ordinance No. 02-2002 (Ordinance No. 02-2002).
