The Supreme Court decision in Hope v. Pelzer, 536 U.S. 730, 122 S.Ct. 2508, 153 L.Ed.2d 666 (2002), did not change the preexisting law of the Eleventh Circuit much.1 So, the result in this case, which is a case that has been remanded to us from the Supreme Court for reconsideration in the light of Hope, remains the same.
